Jessica Fisher

Jessica is a Solicitor, Partner and Director of FCB.

Jessica is an employment law and workplace relations specialist, with strong advocacy and public speaking skills. Her key competencies include advising FCB’s clients in relation to:

  • All areas of Employment law including unfair dismissals, general protections, unlawful terminations, employment contracts & policies, intellectual property and restraints
  • Strategic planning in workplace reform including restructuring, outsourcing and transmission of business
  • Human resource strategies
  • Developing, negotiating and processing enterprise agreements
  • Preventing, managing and resolving industrial disputes
  • Risk Management strategies aligned to client business goals
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Discrimination and equal employment opportunity law
  • Franchising and general commercial law.

Jessica offers FCB’s clients high level strategic advice in enterprise bargaining and alternative dispute resolution, as well as the design and implementation of best practice HR and workplace relations policies and practices that are tailored for the commercial needs underpinning each client's business. She has been described by her clients as being “a highly skilled employment lawyer. Jessica is technically astute, incredibly commercial and a pleasure to work with”.

Prior to commencing FCB, Jessica worked with the Labour Council of NSW and the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW. Jessica also worked as an employment law specialist with a medium sized firm.

Qualifications: B.A. (Industrial Relations), LLB. (UNSW)
