Workplace investigation services

We can advise clients, or lead the investigation of harassment, discrimination, bullying and misconduct in the workplace.

Our team can manage the entire investigation process or simply provide high-level strategic advice on the appropriate investigative processes and corrective action.

Getting the investigation process right involves adhering closely to company policies as well as any duties and obligations imposed by law. It requires asking the right questions of the right people, collecting and analysing relevant statements, documents and other evidence, and careful consideration of the evidence before forming any conclusions or making recommendations.

FCB can prepare questions to be asked during the investigation, script meetings with employees and witnesses, and provide advice on conducting an investigation and the potential legal consequences of any disciplinary or other actions.

Alternative dispute resolution

FCB can provide mediation services by expert and formally qualified mediators where a formal investigation might not be the most effective way to resolve a grievance. We can also advise and represent organisations in the resolution of workplace grievances and disputes via alternative dispute resolution processes.
