FCB Group Winner of Two Australian Business Awards

FCB Group has been recognised as a Winner of The Australian Business Awards for Employer of Choice and Business Innovation in 2017.

Campbell Fisher, Managing Partner and Director of FCB Group says the award affirms their commitment to continuous improvement and innovative business processes.

“Receiving this recognition from the Australian Business Awards is a great nod to say we are headed in the right direction with the business,” says Mr Fisher.

FCB Group’s submission for the Business Innovation Award focused on the development of FCB’s new line of business, HR Assured. The Employer of Choice Award highlights FCB’s commitment to outstanding human resource management practices.

“Today, companies are facing a competitive and continuously changing business landscape. In this context, the performance of companies depends more than ever on their flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness. New technological possibilities have the potential to transform the way companies operate within their respective industries with long-term gains in efficiency, productivity and customer loyalty,” Australian Business Awards Program Director, Ms Tara Johnston, said.

“Organisations that incorporate employer branding as an integral part of their overall business strategy will gain a competitive advantage by taking a long-term approach to investing in talent acquisition. Never has current and future talent been more important to business success than it is today,” Ms Johnston added.

Now in their twelfth year, The Australian Business Awards are an annual all-encompassing awards program which recognises organisations that demonstrate the core values of business innovation, product innovation, technological achievement and employee engagement via a set of comprehensive award categories.

The Australian Business Awards program provides notable opportunities for high-performing organisations to be acknowledged and honoured for their achievements both nationally and internationally.

The Employer of Choice Framework (EOC Framework) is utilised as a structured model of assessment that enables the participating organisations to be benchmarked against world class performance standards through a global recognition and knowledge building initiative that is underpinned by the program’s established framework.

The key attributes of the Employer of Choice Framework define the characteristics of well-managed, high-performing, industry leading organisations that provide a stimulating and supportive workplace. Entrant organisations are required to demonstrate their achievements across the key areas of Organisational Culture; Leadership & Strategy; Employee Education, Training & Development; Employee Health, Safety & Satisfaction; Performance Management; Recognition & Remuneration.

The World Business Awards Framework (WBA Framework) is utilised as a structured model of assessment that enables the participating organisations to be benchmarked against world class performance standards.

Organisational participation includes private companies, publicly listed companies, multi-national subsidiaries, non-government organisations, educational institutions, franchise systems, partnerships, government departments, government agencies, local government and statutory bodies operating in Australia.
