Dani Salinger is a Senior Associate with FCB Workplace Law and has worked exclusively in workplace relations for 13 years. Based in our Melbourne team, Dani advises and acts for corporate clients in a range of industries including construction and infrastructure, manufacturing, retail, education, and mining.
Dani is particularly focused on industrial relations, and has broad experience in:
- Enterprise bargaining (including providing strategic and commercially focused advice to employers engaged in large-scale and multi-enterprise bargaining);
- Defending applications for Majority Support Determinations;
- Industrial disputes;
- Union negotiations; and
- Protected and unprotected industrial action.
On a day-to-day basis Dani advises employers on a range of employment law matters including restructures and redundancies and workforce planning, workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures and termination of employment, performance management, managing ill and injured employees, and general compliance with workplace laws.
Dani’s work history is diverse and spans time in private practice, in-house for an airline, working with the national regulator of union, and in earlier times, in compliance at a government concentrated union. Dani is also a Committee Member for the Victorian Women Lawyers Work Practices Committee who strive to protect and promote in interests of women in law and engaged with the legal and social issues that affect women.
