Legal 500 recommends FCB Workplace Law

FCB Workplace Law has once again been recommended by The Legal 500 in its latest survey of employment law firms in Australia.

The legal directory categorises each law firm by a set of rankings which are based on a series of criteria including feedback from clients, independent research and a submission process highlighting recent work.

Based on this set of criteria FCB Workplace Law is delighted to have been elevated to band three and the only specialist law firm present in the top three bands. As workplace relations is all we do, we are proud to be recognised as experts in our field.

Our ongoing work with Boral and their major industrial/commercial dispute with the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) was highlighted by the research team as being a particularly complex litigation matter. While the matter has recently settled on terms very favourable to our client, the proceedings stands as one of very few examples of a business standing up to intimidation and coercion and ultimately unlawful action by the CFMEU.

FCB Workplace Law has been recommended for employment law in Australia by The Legal 500 each year now since 2005.

The Legal 500 recommendation comes on top of recent awards and achievements including:

  • FCB Workplace Law were recognised in Best Lawyers 2015
  • FCB Workplace Law were shortlisted for the 2015 LIV Awards for ‘Law Firm of the Year (less than 50 Partners)’ category
  • Ben Gee was recognised as a Best Lawyer 2015
